What goes into making a single Bridal Bouquet? Why florists will have minimum spending budgets?

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make your day amazing! 🤩 The purpose of this blog post is bring into perspective what you are actually paying for when you purchase wedding flowers.

What it takes to making a single bridal bouquet:

💐 Design planning (Picking out flower types and colors that fit your specific wedding color palette)

💐 Ordering flowers

💐 Picking up flowers

💐 Making sure all products/materials are in stock and/or ordered (vases, rubber bands, floral tape, wires, ribbon etc;)

💐 Babysitting flowers (keeping them in a cool place, changing out water, fresh cuts daily etc;)

💐 Preparing flowers and greenery for design work by removing lower leaves & giving them a fresh cut

💐 Creating the arrangement

💐 Placing the ribbon on bouquet

💐 Babysitting the finished bouquet until it is ready for travel (keeping it in a cool place and changing its water often)

💐 Preparing item for travel (more goes into this then you’d expect)

💐 Delivering flowers (more challenging then think)

💐 Cleaning up work space, dirty buckets & vases

💐 Pay invoices

So much goes into a single item, because of this we have a minimum budget spend.

We purchase flowers in bulk specific to your wedding. Because of this, the more you get the better bang for your buck. It’s kinda like Costco or Sam’s club. ☺️

Don’t forget we are more than just flowers alone. If your surprised by how much your wedding flower cost, it’s probably because you’ve forgotten your paying for more than just flowers. Your money goes toward flowers, products, and us, to do the work that goes into it.

Remember this as you plan your wedding flower budget. At White Fox Floral we are here make the flower part of planning your wedding as simple and stress free as possible. You can leave the details to us. We know all of the things so you don’t have to.

All the love

-Jess
